This article walks you through first-time setup.<\/p>\n<h2>What you need<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Your DTEN Action Card<\/li>\n<li>A smartphone with the DTEN app installed<\/li>\n<li>A DTEN account (you can create one in the app)<\/li>\n<li>Any USB-C cable<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Step 1: Charge the card<\/h2>\n<p>Connect the card to a USB-C cable \u2014 the same one you already carry for your phone. A full charge gives up to <strong>12 hours of continuous recording<\/strong> and up to <strong>90 days on standby<\/strong>. Charge it fully before your first meeting.<\/p>\n<h2>Step 2: Install the DTEN app and sign in<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Download the DTEN app from your phone&#8217;s app store.<\/li>\n<li>Open the app and sign in with your DTEN account, or create a new one.<\/li>\n<li>Allow notifications when asked. The app uses them to remind you before meetings and to show the recording timer.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2>Step 3: Pair the card<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>In the DTEN app, tap <strong>Add device<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Hold the card next to your phone and press its button once.<\/li>\n<li>Follow the prompts on screen. When pairing is finished, the card appears under <strong>My devices<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2>Step 4: Snap it on<\/h2>\n<p>The card has a built-in magnet and is MagSafe-compatible. Snap it onto the back of your phone (or a MagSafe case) and it stays put. For an in-person meeting you can also simply put it on the table.<\/p>\n<h2>Good to know<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>The card is sealed to IP67, so rain, spills and dust are fine.<\/li>\n<li>There is only one button.
