Room Passcode for Zoom Rooms is a required 1-16 digit numeric lock code that is used to prevent users from making setting changes on the Zoom Room controller or closing the Zoom Room application on the computer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Prerequisites<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Role with edit access to Zoom Rooms.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Zoom Rooms license.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>How to edit the room passcode<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To edit the Room Passcode for all Zoom Rooms in the account:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1. Sign in to the <a href=\"https:\/\/zoom.com\/\">Zoom web portal<\/a> as an admin with the privilege to edit account settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. In the top-right corner, click your profile picture or initials, then click Admin Center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. In the side menu, click Product configuration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4. Click Rooms, then click Zoom Rooms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>5. Click the Rooms tab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>6. Click Account Settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>7. Under Basic, scroll down to Room Passcode.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>8. (Optional) Select the passcode complexity requirements:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Have a minimum passcode length<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have at least 1 letter (a, b, c&#8230;)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have at least 1 number (1, 2, 3&#8230;)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have at least 1 special character (!, @, #&#8230;)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Include both uppercase and lowercase characters<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cannot contain consecutive characters (e.g., \u201c11111\u201d, \u201c12345\u201d, \u201cabcde\u201d, or \u201cqwert\u201d)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>9.
