This new software update will enable camera bars with the &#8220;yellow&#8221; label to take full advantage of the wide-angle view. You may find this \u201cyellow\u201d label on the bottom of the camera bars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Prerequisite<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>For camera bars with yellow-labels printed at the bottom and with Serial Number lower than 423500 &#8211; DB0355AXXX<strong>423500<\/strong>XXX, please update to DTEN D7 firmware v1.4.0.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For camera bars with white-labels, updating hardware camera bar is required to obtain a wide-angle camera feature.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How do I enable the wide-angle view?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Please<a href=\"\/help\/articles\/how-to-update-the-d7-to-1-3-4-with-flash-drives\/\"> update<\/a> to DTEN D7 firmware v1.4.0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Make sure that your camera bar has the yellow barcode label (on the bottom of it)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Can I replace my current camera\/mic bar with the new bar?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Yes, DTEN offers new wide-angle camera bars for customers wanting to upgrade their current bar with a wide-angle view.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have additional questions or need to contact DTEN Support, please refer to this DTEN Knowledge Base article for more details: <a href=\"\/help\/articles\/how-to-contact-dten-for-support\/\">HERE<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>OVERVIEW Starting with DTEN D7 firmware v1.4.0, we will introduce a new wide-angle feature for the accompanying camera bars (that have been in production since April 2019).
