You may select the method based on your specific requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to Factory Reset DTEN Mate?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Method 1: The DTEN Mate Menu (Soft Reset)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Factory Reset On Zoom Rooms:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Click on <strong>Settings<\/strong> on the device&#8217;s <strong>Home<\/strong> screen.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select <strong>System Settings <\/strong>(Enter Zoom Room pin if enabled).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Go to the <strong>Dashboard<\/strong> and click on <strong>Settings<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Under the <strong>General<\/strong> section, find and expand the <strong>Factory Reset<\/strong> drop-down.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select <strong>Reset<\/strong> to initiate the factory reset process.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"649\" height=\"399\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dten.dev\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/image-1779969323075-7277e9.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-33233\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.dten.dev\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/image-1779969323075-7277e9.png 649w, https:\/\/www.dten.dev\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/image-1779969323075-7277e9-300x184.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 649px) 100vw, 649px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Factory Reset On Teams:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1. On Teams <strong>Home<\/strong> Page \u2192Click on <strong>More<\/strong> \u2192 Select <strong>Settings<\/strong> \u2192 <strong>Device Settings<\/strong> \u2192 <strong>Dashboard<\/strong>.<br>2. Select <strong>Login<\/strong>. Select <strong>Reset\u2192Reset to factory\u2192Reset<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"575\" height=\"310\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dten.dev\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/image-1779969323696-2h3ygo.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-33236\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.dten.dev\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/image-1779969323696-2h3ygo.png 575w, https:\/\/www.dten.dev\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/image-1779969323696-2h3ygo-300x162.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 575px) 100vw, 575px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Method 2:Mate Pinhole Reset (Hard Reset)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Required Tool:<\/strong> Prepare a SIM ejector tool, paperclip, or a pin.(<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"28\" height=\"24\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dten.dev\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/image-1779969323845-i62rdb.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-33237\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Steps:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>1. Remove the Mate from the Dock.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2. Plug in a Type-C cable before you start. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While plugged into a Type-C cable, Mate will automatically power on. Power the Mate off again before proceeding with the pinhole reset.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>3. Locate the Reset Pinhole.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Find the small Reset pinhole on the back of the device.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>4. Perform the Pinhole Reset<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Insert and Press: Insert your SIM ejector tool or paperclip into the reset pinhole and press and hold the internal reset button. <strong>Do not release it yet.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Press and Hold (Key Combination): While continuing to hold the reset button, press and hold the <strong>physical Menu button<\/strong> on the back of the device <strong>at the same time<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Wait for Signal: Keep both buttons held down until the DTEN logo appears on the screen.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Release Buttons: Once the DTEN logo is displayed, you can release both buttons simultaneously.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>5. Wait for Reboot<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The device will then automatically complete the factory reset and reboot. This process may take a few minutes.
